The Found(her)s Stage Privacy Notice

This notice explains how application information is handled for The Found(her)s Stage. It supplements the Girl Tech HQ Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect

Founder contact details (name, email, phone, city, state, LinkedIn), optional pronouns, company information, evidence of demand, written responses, optional pitch deck and founder video link, participation preferences, how you heard about the Competition and your consent choices.

2. Why we collect it

To review eligibility, evaluate applications against the published judging criteria, communicate with applicants, schedule semifinal and championship pitches, verify and award the prize, and meet legal and tax obligations.

3. Who may access it

Authorized Girl Tech HQ personnel, competition administrators, authorized judges and reviewers, and service providers necessary to operate the application and Competition. Applications are not published, and applicant names or companies are not announced until selection and participation are confirmed.

4. Marketing consent

Applicants are never automatically added to marketing lists. The marketing checkbox on the application is optional and unchecked by default, and is separate from accepting the Official Rules. Messages necessary to administer the Competition — such as confirmations, selection decisions and scheduling — are not marketing messages. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.

5. Privacy help

To ask about, correct or request deletion of your application information, or to withdraw your application, email hello@girltechhq.com. This notice supplements the Girl Tech HQ Privacy Policy.
